The Saw.
There lived a Carpenter in a small village, he used to earn his living by doing small carpentry work here and there, but was well-known in the entire village for his neat and fine work. One day he thought if he worked for the Civil Engineer, who was building several houses in the village, he could earn more money than what he was getting with his small work. So he went to the Engineer for a job and he got the job and the pay was really good.saw
The Engineer took him to the site and told him to start with making doors and windows for the house they were building. It was a huge house requiring many windows and doors. The Carpenter determined to do his best.
On the first day of his work, the Carpenter did an awesome job and made 12 windows with his saw.
The Engineer was very happy and told the carpenter “Congratulations, keep up the good work”
The Carpenter was motivated by Engineer’s words and thought to work harder on the second day. But to his surprise, although he worked hard he could only make 8 windows.
