The Silent Sermon
My grandfather would tuck his Bible under his arm and walk through the
small town where he lived to Sunday School and church services. For the
last five years of his life, he could not hear, and he never heard a
word of any sermon. Yet, he continued to go.
One day I asked him,"Grampa, why do you keep on going to Sunday School and church when you can't hear a word that the preacher says?"
"I keep on going." he replied, "even if I don't hear the preacher, but because I want people to know whose side I'm on."
Do people know whose side you're on? Do you want them to know? It's time for Christians to take a stand for Christ. We must be different from the world if we are to help it. Until we make it clear who is he that we serve, no one will ever pay attention to us. Make sure the world knows whose side you're on.
"...as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." (Joshua 24:15)

God is Good and Perfect!!
A King had a male servant who, in all circumstances always said to him; My king, do not be discouraged because everything God does is perfect, no mistakes.
One day, they went hunting and a wild animal attacked the king, the servant managed to kill the animal but couldn't prevent his majesty from losing a finger. Furious and without showing gratitude, the King said; if God was good, I would not have been attacked and lost one finger.
The servant replied, 'despite all these things, I can only tell you that God is good and everything He does is perfect, He is never wrong'. Outraged by the response, the king ordered the arrest of his servant. While being taken to prison, he told the king again, God is Good & Perfect.
Another day, the king left alone for another hunt and was captured by savages who use human beings for sacrifice.
On the altar, the savages found out that the king didn't have one finger in place, he was released because he was considered not "complete" to be offered to the gods. On his return to the palace, he ordered the release of his servant and said; My friend, God was really good to me. I was almost killed but for lack of a single finger, I was let go. But I have a question;
If God is so good, why did He allow me to put you in prison? His servant replied; My king, if I had not been put in prison, I would have gone with you, and would have been sacrificed, because I have no missing finger.

He called the young man and said:
– Young man come here, take the key and go and park the
Jeep in front. The young
man replied:
– I cannot drive! The captain
said: – Well then ask for assistance of your God! Show us that
He exist! The young man takes the key and walked
to the vehicle and begins to pray…… …
He parks the jeep at the place PERFECTLY
well as the captain wanted.
The young man came out of the
jeep and saw them
all crying.
They all said together: – We want to serve your God! The
young soldier
was astonished, and asked what was going
on?
The CAPTAIN crying opened the hood of the jeep by showing
the young man that the car had no engine. Then the boy said:
See?
This is the God I serve, THE GOD OF IMPOSSIBLE, the God who
gives life to what does not exist. You may think there are
things still impossible BUT WITH GOD EVERYTHING IS
POSSIBLE.
To the person reading this, I pray the Lord work A SUPER
MIRACLE in your life today that would look like a lie In Jesus Name I Pray..

Give yourself praise
Why do we find it so hard to praise ourselves when we achieve something? It doesn’t seem to matter whether our accomplishments are small or sensational. Giving ourselves a pat on the back for a job well done, can be the emotional equivalent of climbing Mt. Everest!
Perhaps you were trained to be modest; perhaps, you were told you were hopeless and didn’t learn to believe in yourself. Perhaps your past achievements were simply ignored by parents, peers or mentors. Or, maybe you’ve simply given up on expecting accolades.
We often freely praise others for their achievements yet withhold it from ourselves. But self-praise is important – more important than praise from others. Others are not always dependable. But, you can always count on yourself.
Today, begin your journey of self-commendation. Praise yourself for each achievement, however insignificant you may think it is. Watch yourself achieving as you go about your day. And give yourself a pat on the back – you deserve it!

ONIONS! I had never heard this!!! PLEASE READ TO THE END: IMPORTANT
In
1919 when the flu killed 40 million people there was this Doctor that
visited the many farmers to see if he could help them combat the flu...
Many of the farmers and their families had contracted it and many died.
The doctor came upon this one farmer and to his surprise, everyone was very healthy. When the doctor asked what the farmer was doing that was different the wife replied that she had placed an unpeeled onion in a dish in the rooms of the home, (probably only two rooms back then). The doctor couldn't believe it and asked if he could have one of the onions and place it under the microscope. She gave him one and when he did this, he did find the flu virus in the onion. It obviously absorbed the bacteria, therefore, keeping the family healthy.
Now, I heard this story from my hairdresser. She said that several years ago, many of her employees were coming down with the flu, and so were many of her customers. The next year she placed several bowls with onions around in her shop. To her surprise, none of her staff got sick. It must work. Try it and see what happens. We did it last year and we never got the flu.
Now there is a P. S. to this for I sent it to a friend in Oregon who regularly contributes material to me on health issues. She replied with this most interesting experience about onions:

I came across an article that said to cut both ends off an onion put it into an empty jar, and place the jar next to the sick patient at night. It said the onion would be black in the morning from the germs...sure enough it happened just like that...the onion was a mess and I began to feel better.
Another thing I read in the article was that onions and garlic placed around the room saved many from the black plague years ago. They have powerful antibacterial, antiseptic properties.

Pastor Bankole Solomon Condemns Politicization of RCCG's Holy Ghost Congress
A former pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG),
Bankole Solomon, has condemned what he described as the politicization
of the church's annual Holy Ghost congress.
Pastor Bankole, a lawyer and the Ogun State Secretary of the
Committee for the Defence of Human Rights (CDHR), expressed the position
on Facebook.
Speaking later to SaharaReporters by telephone, he said his position
was aimed at President Goodluck Jonathan's appearance at the congress as
a tool for political manipulation of members of the popular church, and
Christians at large, but was not an attack on the church and its
leadership.
He described Holy Ghost congress as having become “a supermarket
where all kinds of people like charlatans and political opportunists
come shopping turning God to Father Xmas to give them end-of-year
bonus.”
Mr. Solomon said he was very unhappy at the rate at which his famed
church voluntarily surrenders its sacred podium to corrupt politicians
when pastors working hard in the church are being denied the same access
to the podium.
President Goodluck Jonathan, he said, was there “turning our once
sacred altar to political podium talking deceitfully & indirectly
campaigning for 2015.”
He questioned the basis for that decision, given that Mr. Jonathan is not a pastor.

The lawyer, who said he resigned from the ministry of the RCCG in
2010 for personal reasons, predicted in his post that members of the
church would harass and harangue him for coming out clearly to condemn
the way the church has been turned to a den of thieves.

Bankole has been receiving threats, cursing and harassment from members
across the world. Bankole however says he stands by his earlier
position, but expressed surprise at the attacks.

Remember the Bible says you won't be able to buy or sell without the mark. And guess what! The chip is connected to your financial details. What breaks my heart the most is that many people in the church will not make it if Jesus comes now? Many are unaware that the end is near.
Don't tell me that its a developed world process, technology or
something fancy. If any area of your life is not in sync with God's
word, its time to make a quick u-turn NOW...
Repent and be converted. If you miss heaven you can never miss hell...think about it.
Hell is not a pretty place, the worst part is that it is for eternity...Please rather than post and forward senseless messages and publish those Boko haram's devilish accomplishments, join me to sound the alarm.
